Immigrants Hub Canada International (IHCI) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our programs, why we collect it, and how we protect it. Effective date: October 10, 2026.

IHCI is a not-for-profit corporation based in Calgary, Alberta. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean IHCI.

When you use the form on our Get Support page, we collect your name, how you prefer to be contacted, your phone number or email address, your preferred language, the kind of help you are asking about, and any message you choose to write.
When you join a program, volunteer or become a partner, we may ask for more information. We will tell you what we need and why at that time, and we will only ask for what is necessary.
We ask you not to send immigration documents, medical records, or financial records through the website form.
3. Why we use it

- To keep administrative records, communicate with participants, volunteers and community partners, and meet legal and funding requirements
We do not sell or rent personal information.
4. Your consent
When you tick the consent box and send the form, you agree to us using your information as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing may mean we cannot continue to help you with your request.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only:
- with your consent, for example when you ask us to refer you to another organization;
- with service providers who help us run our website and email, who must protect it; and
- when the law requires it, or to protect someone from serious harm.
6. Children and youth
We collect information about a child or youth from a parent or guardian, or with their permission.
7. Where we keep it and for how long

Only authorized IHCI staff and volunteers can see personal information, and only when they need it to do their work.
